Saturday, June 1st from 11am to 3pm at Shuttleworth Park in Amsterdam. All proceeds from this major fundraiser will benefit the MCSPCA’s New Animal Shelter Building Fund. Construction for the new animal shelter will begin in 2014!

A friendly, happy dog, Joelle has lots of energy that she channels into seemingly endless playtime. She loves long walks and then relaxing by your feet afterward. She likes other dogs and wouldn’t mind having a playmate at home. Joelle has been patiently waiting at the shelter for almost a year, since last July, for her forever home.

Haze was brought in by animal control back in December and no owner came forward. Haze is a quiet mellow girl who loves attention.

"PAL" - Prevent Another Litter - is a program of the Montgomery County SPCA which provides low-cost spay and neuter for felines.

The Emma's Hope Foster Care program at the Montgomery County SPCA is named for an injured, abandoned puppy taken in and cared for by Foster Care Coordinator Christine Fura.
